This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data in connection with the FAILED Conference Belgrade (the “Event”) and the Event website (the “Website”).

1) Scope
This Policy applies to:
- visitors of the Website;
- individuals purchasing Individual Tickets via Tickets.rs;
- individuals purchasing Corporate/Company Tickets directly from the Organizer (invoice-based);
- Event attendees, speakers, partners, volunteers, and guests.
2) What personal data we collect
A. Individual Tickets (via Tickets.rs) When you purchase an Individual Ticket via Tickets.rs, your purchase and certain personal data are processed by Tickets.rs under its own privacy policy. Tickets.rs typically processes buyer data such as name, email, phone number and other purchase-related details. The Organizer may receive limited data necessary to manage the Event (e.g., attendee list/check-in information), depending on the ticketing setup.
B. Corporate/Company Tickets (directly from the Organizer) If you purchase tickets on behalf of a company (invoice-based), we may collect:
- contact person’s name and email/phone;
- company name, job title/position (optional);
- billing details needed to issue an invoice (e.g., company address and identifiers such as PIB/VAT ID and registration number);
- payment status information (we do not collect or store card data as there is no online card payment for corporate purchases).
C. Website usage and technical data When you use the Website, we may collect:
- IP address and device/browser data;
- usage data (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, timestamps, referrer), including via cookies/analytics tools.
D. Photo/video at the Event We will take photographs and record video/audio at the Event. This may include your image/voice and other identifying features.
3) Why we use your data (purposes)
We process personal data for:
- ticketing and registration administration (confirmations, attendee management, access control/check-in);
- communication about the Event (practical info, schedule updates, changes);
- corporate invoicing and accounting (issuing invoices, payment tracking, bookkeeping);
- Website operation, security, and improvement (fraud prevention, troubleshooting, analytics);
- Event media production (photo/video documentation of the Event) and promotion of the Event and future editions (e.g., recap content on our website and social media, promotional materials).
4) Legal bases for processing
We process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract (to provide tickets/attendance and manage your participation);
- Legal obligation (tax/accounting requirements for invoicing);
- Legitimate interests (Event operations, security, analytics, documenting and promoting the Event), unless overridden by your rights;
- Consent, where required (e.g., non-essential cookies; and in certain contexts, where we decide to rely on consent for specific media uses).
5) Who we share data with
We may share data with:
- Tickets.rs / Ticket Vision (for Individual Ticket sales and validation) under their role and privacy policy;
- service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., website hosting, email tools, analytics providers);
- accountants and advisors (strictly as necessary for compliance and invoicing);
- Event production vendors (e.g., photo/video teams), under confidentiality and data protection obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
6) International transfers
Some of our service providers (e.g., analytics, hosting, social media platforms) may process data outside Serbia. Where applicable, we will use appropriate safeguards required by law for such transfers.
7) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described:
- Corporate invoicing and accounting data is retained in accordance with applicable accounting and tax laws;
- Event administration data: retained for a reasonable period after the Event to handle operational follow-ups and inquiries;
- Website analytics/cookies: retained according to our configuration and vendor settings.
8) Your rights
You have the right to request:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification;
- erasure (where applicable);
- restriction of processing;
- data portability (where applicable);
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests.

9) Event photo/video notice and options
We photograph and record the Event for documentation and promotional purposes. This may include wide shots of the venue and audience, as well as shots of speakers and participants.
If you do not wish to appear in photos/videos:
- please approach the registration desk or any staff member at the Event;
- we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request (e.g., marking seating areas or avoiding close-up shots), but we cannot always guarantee exclusion from wide crowd shots.
If we plan to use a close-up image of an attendee in a prominent promotional context, we may seek additional confirmation depending on the circumstances.
10) Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to ensure the Website functions properly and to improve it. Cookies may include:
- necessary cookies (Website functionality);
- analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics);
- third-party cookies (e.g., embedded social media features).
