FAILED Conference Belgrade
Our Commitment
FAILED is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or preference in design philosophy. Harassment of conference participants in any form will not be tolerated. This Code of Conduct applies to all FAILED spaces, including talks, workshops, parties, social media, and online forums.
Expected Behavior
- Demonstrate respect and courtesy towards all participants.
- Be mindful of the boundaries, identities, and feelings of others.
- Immediately alert conference staff if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
Unacceptable Behavior
Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct by any attendees of FAILED and related events is unacceptable. We expect participants to follow these rules in all conference venues and conference-related social events.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to stop such behavior is expected to comply immediately. Conference organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the conference without a refund.
Reporting Guidelines
If you are subjected to or witness harassment, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified by special badges/attire and are trained to address and escalate any issues to ensure this Code of Conduct is upheld.
Applicability & Expectations
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants of FAILED (sponsors, volunteers, speakers, attendees, and other guests) across all conference venues and conference-related social events.
