General Terms & Conditions (GTC) — FAILED Conference Belgrade

These General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) are issued in English by the organizer of the FAILED Conference Belgrade (the “Event”) and apply to your use of the website and your purchase and/or use of tickets for the Event.

By using the Website and/or purchasing or using a Ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these GTC. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website and do not purchase Tickets.
These GTC apply together with any other notices and policies published on the Website, including the Privacy Policy and Cookie information.
I. Definitions
1.1 Organizer: Metod Brands d.o.o., Resavska 3, Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. 1.2 Visitor / Attendee: a person attending the Event with a valid Ticket. 1.3 Ticket Purchaser: the person (individual or company representative) purchasing the Ticket(s). 1.4 Event: FAILED Conference Belgrade, taking place on May 20, 2026, or on such other date(s) as notified by the Organizer. 1.5 Ticket: a ticket (paper or electronic) with unique identifiers (e.g., QR/barcode) that evidences the right to attend the Event in line with the applicable Ticket Type. 1.6 Ticket Types: a) Conference Ticket (Standard) — includes access to the Conference and the official afterparty (Conference + Afterparty). b) Conference Ticket (Student) — includes access to the Conference and the official afterparty (Conference + Afterparty), subject to valid student proof at entry. c) Afterparty-Only Ticket — includes access only to the official Creative Industry Afterparty, and does not include Conference access. d) Corporate Package — invoice-based purchase directly from the Organizer (legal entities), comprising a defined number of Conference Tickets plus additional Afterparty-Only Tickets (as confirmed on the invoice/pro forma). 1.7 Event Sponsor/Partner: a person or company that has entered into a sponsorship/partner agreement with the Organizer in relation to the Event. 1.8 Event Website: https://failedevents.com
II. Ticket purchase and authorized sales channels
2.1 Authorized channels only Tickets may be purchased only through the Organizer’s authorized channels:
- Individual Ticket sales (Standard / Student / Afterparty-Only): via Tickets.rs (authorized ticketing partner).
- Corporate Packages (legal entities): directly from the Organizer via pro forma invoice / invoice-based purchase (no online card payment for corporate purchases).
The Organizer shall have no liability for Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources, including resale tickets. The Organizer may deny entry for such Tickets.
2.2 Tickets.rs as ticketing partner
Where Tickets are purchased via Tickets.rs, the purchase flow, payment processing, ticket delivery mechanics, and certain buyer communications may be provided by Tickets.rs under its applicable terms and policies. Event attendance rules, on-site conduct rules, and cancellation terms are governed by these GTC.
2.3 Company purchases (authorization)
If you purchase Tickets as a representative of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to agree to these GTC on behalf of the company, and you will ensure that all Visitors from the company are aware of and comply with these GTC.
2.4 Ticket delivery and format
Tickets are issued in electronic form (and may be printable). Tickets contain unique identifiers (QR/barcode) and can be presented on a smart device or printed. It is the Ticket Purchaser’s responsibility to keep Tickets secure and to present them upon entry.
2.5 Accuracy of purchaser information
The Ticket Purchaser confirms that the information provided during purchase is accurate and complete. The Organizer is not liable for issues caused by incorrect, misleading, or false information.
2.6 Corporate Packages (3/5 bundles with extra afterparty tickets)
Corporate Packages are available only via direct invoice-based purchase from the Organizer and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, include:
- Package 3: purchase of three (3) Conference Tickets (Conference + Afterparty) and receive three (3) additional Afterparty-Only Tickets; or
- Package 5: purchase of five (5) Conference Tickets (Conference + Afterparty) and receive five (5) additional Afterparty-Only Tickets. Corporate Packages are subject to availability and are confirmed in writing on the Organizer’s pro forma invoice/invoice.
2.7 Suspension of sales For safety, capacity, technical or other important reasons, the Organizer reserves the right to suspend ticket sales at any time.
III. Ticket rules, entry, and refunds (incl. withdrawal)
3.1 Single validation / entry control
Each Ticket is valid for one-time entry validation (scan/verification). Once a Ticket is validated, it cannot be used again.
3.2 Access entitlements (Conference + Afterparty vs Afterparty-only)
- Standard and Student Conference Tickets include access to the Conference and the official Creative Industry Afterparty.
- Afterparty-Only Tickets include access only to the Afterparty and do not grant Conference access.
After entry validation, the Organizer may provide a wristband or other access marker. The access marker (if used) indicates the Visitor’s entitlement based on the purchased Ticket Type.
3.3 Student Tickets (proof required)
Proof of valid student status must be presented at entry. If valid proof is not provided, the Organizer may deny entry without refund or (at the Organizer’s discretion) allow entry upon payment of the difference to the applicable ticket category.
3.4 Lost/damaged tickets
The Organizer is not obliged to replace lost, damaged, or destroyed Tickets.
3.5 Refund policy & right of withdrawal
Tickets are non-refundable, except in cases of full Event cancellation as described in Section V.
Because the Event is a leisure service provided on a specific date/time, the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts generally does not apply once the Ticket is purchased.
IV. Online streaming
Not applicable. The Event does not include streaming tickets unless explicitly announced by the Organizer in writing.
V. Changes, postponement, and cancellation
5.1 Program/date/venue changes
The Organizer reserves the right to change the program, schedule, speakers, date and/or venue when reasonably necessary. Changes in speakers do not automatically constitute grounds for a refund.
5.2 Cancellation before start (refunds)
If the Event is canceled before it starts, the Ticket Purchaser is entitled to a refund of the face value of the Ticket (the amount indicated for the Ticket), unless the Organizer announces an alternative remedy (e.g., ticket exchange for a new date) in accordance with applicable law.
- Individual Tickets purchased via Tickets.rs: refunds (where applicable) will be processed via Tickets.rs according to the procedure applicable to the ticketing platform and the cancellation notice.
- Corporate Packages purchased directly from the Organizer: refunds (where applicable) will be handled directly by the Organizer via bank transfer, based on the invoice/payment record.
5.3 Costs not covered
To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer is not responsible for any additional losses or costs incurred by the Ticket Purchaser or Visitor due to cancellation or postponement, including travel, accommodation, delivery fees, bank charges, or other third-party costs.
5.4 Force majeure
If the Event is canceled or interrupted due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control that were not foreseeable and could not reasonably have been avoided or prevented (force majeure), the Organizer shall not be liable to the extent permitted by law.
5.5 Liability cap
To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer’s liability related to cancellation/postponement shall be limited to the amount paid for the Ticket(s).
VI. Rules for attending the Event
6.1 Valid ticket required
To participate in the Event, the Visitor must have a valid Ticket and must present it to authorized staff upon entry and upon request during the Event.
6.2 Attending at own risk
Visitors attend the Event at their own risk. Visitors must use the venue and any equipment/fixtures as intended and follow all safety instructions.
6.3 Prohibited items and conduct
It is strictly forbidden to bring objects that are dangerous to safety and/or disturbing or likely to disturb other Visitors. The Organizer may deny entry or remove a Visitor from the venue for violations, without refund.
6.4 Code of Conduct
All Visitors must comply with the Event Code of Conduct and any venue rules communicated on-site or via the Website.
6.5 Visitor recording (allowed with limits)
Visitors may take photos and make audio/video recordings on mobile phones for personal, non-commercial use, provided that such recording does not disrupt the Event, obstruct staff, violate safety rules, or infringe the rights and privacy of other participants.
Professional recording equipment (e.g., large cameras, tripods, external lighting) and any recording intended for commercial use requires prior written approval from the Organizer.
6.6 Photography/video by Organizer
By attending the Event, you acknowledge that the Organizer and/or third parties approved by the Organizer may take photographs and record video/audio at the Event. Such materials may be used for documentation and promotional purposes (including on the Website and on social media), without compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
6.7 On-site promotion
Only the Organizer and Event Sponsors/Partners (and other parties explicitly approved in writing by the Organizer) may promote any company, brand, service or product on-site.
VII. Governing law and jurisdiction
7.1 These GTC and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia. 7.2 The competent courts in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
VIII. Complaints
8.1 The Organizer receives complaints and inquiries regarding the Event at: info@failedevents.com 8.2 Complaints will be investigated and answered without undue delay and, where practicable, within 10 days of receipt. 8.3 Verbal complaints raised on-site may be recorded by the Organizer in a written report.
IX. Miscellaneous provisions
9.1 Severability
If any provision of these GTC becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable. Any invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
9.2 Subcontractors
The Organizer may use subcontractors for the organization and delivery of the Event.
9.3 Updates
The Organizer may update these GTC from time to time. The version published on the Website (with the updated date) shall apply.
